In the French region of La Vienne lies the spa town of La Roche-Posay, the source of a unique thermal water - and also the origin of the La Roche-Posay brand. In 1928, the first products based on the thermal water from La Roche-Posay were developed here - for the after-treatment of the skin after thermal cures. Reduced to the essential active and care substances, this "cosmetic minimalism" is an absolute must for sensitive skin.
Today, La Roche-Posay is the largest dermatological thermal centre in Europe. About 8,000 people visit the thermal centre every year. One third of the people treated are children. A team of 15 doctors, including 9 dermatologists, treats skin diseases such as neurodermatitis, eczema, psoriasis, acne, rosacea and the consequences of burns or skin affected by cancer therapy.
